The Spook Nights

I have always had only a passing interest in Most Haunted. Although the concept of the programme is great, the over theatrics of it gets all a little too much for me. In April 2004 I had the opportunity to go on my very first ghost night and the chance to see for my self if there is the need for all that screaming that Yvette does!!! The venue for this night out was a house called Plas Teg near Wrexham. The night itself was a great success and I may post more about it in the future. The one thing it did do was give me a good insight to the world of paranormal investigation. I now wanted more.
Plas Teg has never featured on MH but my next port of call has. Derby Gaol. I had a wonderful night in the gaol and met up with Ralph Keeton for the very first time there. Ralph came along with Ian Lawman and Phil Wyman both of MH fame. Ralph will become quite an influence on my development so more is to follow.
More night vigils followed at places such as RAF Hemswell and the Ram Inn nr Gloucester. It was at the Ram that I witnessed what still stands as my most frightening moment in a haunted location. The sight of my, then, 18 year old boy being lifted off the floor and thrown through the air by unseen hands was an awesome thing. His view on it was that it beat any coaster he has been on!!!!.
As I have hinted I will probably expand on some of the experiences I have had in these places as I develop the site.
April 2005 turned out to be a big turning point for me in many aspects of my spiritual pathway. Along with a couple of my closest friends I decided to partake in Ralph Keetons Headlands Tour. This is a tour of the most haunted points of Hartlepools ancient headland. The night was a very interesting one and I picked up on a lot of the historic events that had taken place. After the event Ralph asked if I would like to join his team and take part in future events. This I was very willing to do and so the 400 mile round trip is now a big part of my routine. It opened many doors and I now do as many psychic evenings in the North East as I do around the West Midlands.
